Exploring Art Class
Each session students can explore different art forms including acrylic painting, watercolors, oil pastels, drawing, ceramics and clay.
10 Week Session
Class meets each Tuesday, between September 20 to November 29 (excluding Nov. 22)

3 p.m. to 3:55 p.m.
4 p.m. to 4:55 p.m
5 p.m. to 5:55 p.m.
Exploring Musical Theater Class
Each session students can explore different ways to perform with music and theater including characterization, pantomime, voice projection and vocal performance.
10 Week Session
Class meets each Wednesday, between September 21 to November 30 (excluding Nov. 23)

2 p.m. to 2:55 p.m.
3 p.m. to 3:55 p.m.
4 p.m. to 4:55 p.m.
Exploring Creative Writing/Storytelling Class
Each session students will learn different forms of creative writing and storytelling, including poetry, short stories, play scripts and movie scripts.
10 Week Session
Class meets each Thursday, between September 22 to December 1 (excluding Nov. 24)

4 p.m. to 4:55 p.m

Creativity Cultivators: Paul and Carol Roberts
Paul and Carol have extensive experience in the creative arts through performing in the Sixth Street Melodrama, teaching in the Kellogg School District, and through their business, Grow Me A Story, LLC. Paul and Carol will help students explore different kinds of creativity and learn tools to cultivate a creative life.
Paul and Carol use five ways to help cultivate the creative life. Throughout the 10 week session, students will learn and explore these different activities.
Sowing Seeds
Each week students will free write or draw pictures for a set amount of time for their eyes only. This helps stop the negative thinking and resistance that can stop the creative process. This activity helps create inspiration for future creative endeavors.
Creative Rendezvous
Each week students will explore the creativity area and learn to look at creativity as play.
Awareness
At different times during the ten week session, students will learn to become aware of what is happening around them. We will encourage them to use all five senses to take in the world around them.
The Creator Connection
During this ten week session students will be encouraged to connect with the spiritual side of creativity by connecting with The Creator, God. We share with the students how the Creator of the Universe wants to connect with them and birth a creation through them. We will discuss how we can stop and listen and let the work be created.
Creative Community
Each week students will spend time sharing with others about what they created, and comment on other's creations. This will help them learn to be a part of a creative community.
